This opulent and densely concentrated Shiraz comes from a low yielding cool-climate single vineyard in Langhorne Creek. It is vinified in small, open vats, pressed using a traditional basket press and aged for 18 months in new (30-40%) seasoned, 300-litre American and French oak barrels.
This wine exhibits ephemeral varietal characteristics of the slow-ripening cool climate, dark in colour, dark cherry and black fruit flavours with hints of spice giving a balanced, fine silky tannin.
Unashamedly a full-bodied, generously-flavoured small batch wine with just 100 dozen cases made. Limited time only!
