Hand picked grapes from Pirate Cru’s small, dry-grown, low yielding vines in the sub-region of the Barossa Valley known as Light Pass.
Matured in a combination of 40% new American (Shenandoah) and seasoned in Fresh and American Oak for approximately 30 months, this wine is intensely coloured, complex aromas, layered with inky dark-berry and spicy notes. Palate is full and elegant, exhibiting abundant ripe fruit flavours woven harmoniously with fine oak and soft tannins.
Best enjoyed with our premium grain fed Angus T-bone or Rib Eye.
